Missouri
Traveling from Montana to where it joins the Mississippi near St. Louis, the Missouri is the longest river in the US. The Missouri defined the American frontier in the 19th century and its name now defines my new line of dreadnought guitars. Big, bold, beautiful instruments that redefine the powerful sound of this genre of guitars with amazing tonal balance and rapid response to all playing styles unlike anything you’ve played before.
Built on the legacy of the pre-war herringbone models of dreadnought style guitars, the LD-47 combines the best of vintage presence with contemporary freedom of tone and design. The snowflake inlays, herringbone purfling and “zipper” back center stripe emulate the beauty of vintage instruments while Levinson table voicing, ellipse bridge and scalloped bracing take you to the future of dreadnought tone. Truely “back to the future.”
