Medina

The Medina River runs near San Antonio, Texas in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Its shores are known for lush vegetation and abundant wildlife. The Levinson Medina brings you lush warm tones and abundant volume with a percussive sound and controlled bass response resulting from the 24.75 inch (628 mm) scale length and the round-shoulder body design. A perfect pleasure to play – straight from the heart.

The LJ-24-12 is the first 12-string in the Levinson Acoustics line up. Unique because of the 628 mm scale, the Medina 12-string is the most percussive, well balanced and easiest to play 12-string on the market. The wider waist of this design adds additonal volume to the body, increasing volume and tonal warmth. The Engelmann spruce top further enhances these characteristics to create a broad tonal spectrum, avoiding the overly trebly character of most 12‐strings. It has become the 12-string of choice among British professional musicians including 10 CC, Moody Blues, Take That and others.
